Invoicing Policy

1. Purpose

This page explains how you receive proof of purchase for Lab hour bundles bought on ccielab.net, what it contains, and how to get additional documentation if you need it for business or reimbursement purposes.

It applies to all purchases made via PayPal or Stripe.

2. How You Receive Your Invoice

A formal invoice is not generated separately by CCIE Lab Portal. Instead, PayPal or Stripe (whichever you use to pay) automatically sends you a payment confirmation/receipt by email at the time of purchase.

This receipt serves as your invoice and proof of purchase.

The receipt is also viewable anytime by logging into your PayPal or Stripe (if applicable) account history.

3. What Your Receipt Includes

Receipts issued by PayPal and Stripe typically include:

• Transaction date and a unique transaction/reference ID
• CCIE Lab Portal as the seller of record
• Description of the item purchased (e.g., "30-Hour Lab Access Bundle"), where provided at checkout
• Amount charged and currency
• Payment method used
• Applicable tax, if any (see Section 4)

Exact formatting and level of detail may vary slightly between PayPal and Stripe, since each processor generates its own receipt.

4. Sales Tax / VAT

CCIE Lab Portal is a US-registered business based in California. Whether tax applies to a given purchase depends on the customer's billing location and applicable local rules.

5. Invoices for Business / Reimbursement Purchases

The standard PayPal or Stripe receipt may not include details some business buyers need for expense reimbursement, such as a formatted invoice with your company name, VAT/Tax ID, or a purchase order reference.

If you need this, contact support@ccielab.net after purchase with your transaction ID and the details to include, and we will issue a supplementary invoice document.

6. Corrections & Reissues

If you notice an error on your PayPal or Stripe receipt (incorrect amount, duplicate charge, etc.), contact support@ccielab.net within 30 days of the transaction date with your transaction ID.

Since the receipt itself is generated by the payment processor, corrections to the underlying transaction may need to go through PayPal or Stripe directly, but we will assist and issue any supplementary documentation needed on our end.

7. Record Retention

Your transaction history remains accessible in your PayPal or Stripe account for as long as those platforms retain it.

We also retain internal records of your purchases and Lab hour balance for as long as your account is active, and for the period required by applicable tax and accounting law afterward, generally a minimum of seven years.
